Commanding Officer Advanced Infantry Training Battalion Lieutenant Colonel McMenamin graduated from the United States Naval Academy in May 2007 with a B.S. in Economics. Upon graduation he attended The Basic School in July 2007 and later the Infantry Officers Course. In April 2008, Lieutenant Colonel McMenamin reported to 3rd Battalion, 8th Marines in Camp Lejeune, NC and was assigned as 2nd Platoon Commander, India Company. Senior Enlisted Leader Advanced Infantry Training Battalion Sergeant Major Vee is a native of Chicago, Illinois. He enlisted in the Marine Corps on 8 May 2001 and attended recruit training at First Recruit Training Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, California. Upon graduation, Private Vee was meritoriously promoted to Private First Class and reported to Marine Combat Training (MCT) aboard Camp Pendleton, California.
